Not too sure about them all,but I would think that bairn would be ok.I am pretty sure that the Scottish word for a small dwelling,bothie has been used on Countdown.

Aye, lots of Scottish words are allowed. Scottish lexicographer Phiona Stanley was very good at spotting them.
