Happy Burns Night everyone!
Does anyone know if any Scottish words are allowed on Countdown? Such as OCH, BAIRN, WISNAE, BEN, KEN, BRAW, DROOKIT etc...

Not too sure about them all,but I would think that bairn would be ok.I am pretty sure that the Scottish word for a small dwelling, bothie has been used on Countdown.

Aye, lots of Scottish words are allowed. Scottish lexicographer Phiona Stanley was very good at spotting them.
