Friday has arrived and we have a new Jon as the champion, Jon Elmer, that is. A very tight encounter with John Symonds yesterday saw him prevail, and he'll now accomadate the champions' chair today. But for how long........

Surely accommodate?
I was sure that was wrong, but couldn't be bothered to find the correct spelling.
There was a "Greg Scott" on the show today. I don't believe it was the British Greg Scott. I suspect he was American. One of the American people in the game show community said so, and I have good reason to believe that.
ABOULIA and MARABOU as beaters in round 1, PROEMIAL in round 8 and TURFIEST in round 12.
I watched today's show (first show of this series I've watched) as a mate who works with Greg said he was on the show and didn't want to miss his banter! A confident contestant

Surely accommodate?
And surely it's the chair that's accommodating him?

It's not like he could have benefitted in any way by having once been involved in the show. What were you thinking of — that Suzie would allow any word he offered, even if it was invalid?
Hugh, I was thinking that if he knew anyone on the show, past or present, that he could have gotten help on how to play the game from them.
On any American game show, the crew does not allow anyone who knows anyone else that works for the network (CBS for example) for this reason. I have seen it happen before, and people just let it slide because all they care about is having a good time.
