Spoilers For Thursday February 3rd 2011
So, Edward is now sitting comfortably in the champions' chair following his brilliant win yesterday.
Interestingly, his 115 is the highest debut score for any contestant since a certain Jack Hurst's 114, back in October. Is that an omen, I wonder
I'll be back later with the Robinson Recap.

115 is higher than 114 though, I don't get it.James Robinson wrote:Interestingly, his 115 is the highest debut score for any contestant since a certain Jack Hurst's 114, back in October. Is that an omen, I wonder

Basically, I couldn't think of any higher from the recent past. I think the most recent is probably Andrew Hulme's 133, but since he didn't win his series, I thought Edward might be happier with that statistic, even if it is slightly flawed.Matt Morrison wrote:115 is higher than 114 though, I don't get it.James Robinson wrote:Interestingly, his 115 is the highest debut score for any contestant since a certain Jack Hurst's 114, back in October. Edward is so cool! Although I'm confused as to how to pronounce his surname. Jeff started with [mˈkʌlə] and then moved on to [mˈkʌlək]. The other bloke seems very robotic sitting opposite Edward.

Equallers: STOOLIES, VELETA, UPSTREAM for SOLIDEST, ZEALOT, TEMPURAS respectively.
And UNGUENT to equal NEUTRON.
Alternative 3rd numbers (100-6)x(5+3)=752

Another top notch performance Ed - well played. That very tough conundrum appears to be invalid on Lexplorer so must be one of the new additions to the new dictionary.

Watching todays show on +1 so sorry if this alternate first numbers round solution has been posted as don't want to see any other spoilers.
25 x 9 = 225
25 + 10 - 7 = 228
228 x 2 = 456
25 x 9 = 225
25 + 10 - 7 = 228
228 x 2 = 456

2nd numbers round alternate:
25 + 7 - 3 = 29
8 + 4 = 12
29 x 12 = 348
25 + 7 - 3 = 29
8 + 4 = 12
29 x 12 = 348

1st Numbers Alt.: (7 x 7 x 10) - 25 - 9 = 456
2nd Numbers Alt.: (((25 x 3) - 7) x 5) + 8 = 348
3rd Numbers Alt.: (100 - 6) x (5 + 3) = 752
Well done again, Edward.

By the way I think I had OSTEOIDS in an early round which hasn't been mentioned.
Edit: No I didn't.
