The great man passed away 4 yrs ago today - June 26th 2005.
Still sadly missed by all at ITV Yorkshire and beyond.

Fantastic man was Richard Whiteley. Will never be forgotten. Very kind man. Was a joy to be around. Can't believe it's 4 years since he died.

Notice the stark contrast between this thread and the Michael Jackson thread. But at least Richard Whiteley's not dead. He's just in the third half of his life.
