Namagrams
In my previous job, various quizzes used to do the rounds each Xmas Eve as compensation for being at work that day. About 5 years ago, I started doing anagrams of staff names. This later developed into sport, pop and rock personalities.
Since I know you all enjoy solving conundrums, I’ve put together a selection of these “namagrams”. I’ve included some of the more risqué ones that I omitted from the list circulated at work (Judging by the content of some of the threads on this forum, I doubt any of you will be offended).
I’ve split the selection into two sections and given cryptic clues to help out. I hope you have fun solving them.

Definitely give us more time Phil, I'd like to have a go at the football one.

Ouch - a few misspelt names in there ("BARBARA STREISAND", "OSSIE OSBOURNE", "BOB GELDOFF") which probably didn't help. But still good fun. Thanks Phil (and good to meet you on Wednesday).

Many words are anagrams of other words.
But my question is, can you think of a word that's an anagram of itself?
