Hello and welcome to another Friday recap

Today is an important day where we get to crown an octo-champ, today is no exception our champion Chris Kirby is going rather well at the moment and could make it in time for the Series 90 finals which is around the corner Chris will need to score 33+ to dislodge Fiona Wood as the top seed of series.....................which is doable by the way..........before we get down to business can Bethan spoil the party ?

What a fantastic contest this has been.........firstly congratulations to Chris on becoming the 7th Octo-champ of Series 90 his total of 880 points puts him as the top seed for this series this averages out at 110 points a game, secondly take nothing away from Bethan she gave as good as she got but had the last laugh by solving the conundrum..............we welcome two brand new contestants to the Countdown studios on Monday.........one of them will be walking off with the teapot.............you can join me for that recap..........in the meantime it is bye for now
