OT: MUSETTE (7)
Score: 5–0 (max 7)

DC: QUAESTOR (8)
OT: EQUATORS (8)
Score: 35–13 (max 40)
Another fine round from our champion David with Saunter........sadly for our challenger Laura she is stuck on a 6 and doesn't get to score

Over in DC they get to spot a rather badass 8 Equators as does yours truly ! A still from my all favourite TV show Cobra Kai featuring the most badass characters in the show Johnny and Miguel.........with the most badass rocker Dee Snider from Twisted Sister !

Round 6: 100, 5, 1, 7, 2, 5. Target: 199.
C1: 199. 2 × 100 − 1 (10)
C2: 199. 2 × 100 − 1 (10)

Round 7: H E D I T E S I G
David: SIGHTED (7)
Laura: SIGHTED (7)
DC: EIGHTIES (8)
Score: 52–30 (max 58)
Sevens all round from our champion and challenger............over in DC they are going retro with their 8 Eighties.........I am going retro with a few of my favourite 1980s albums

What a badass album from British singer/songwriter Peter Gabriel with his 5th studio album So.........a huge favourite amongst his fans and a personal favourite of mine................I always borrowed this off my late uncle............until I bought my own copy that I still have to this day ! This launched Peter Gabriel from being a cult artist to a mainstream singer/songwriter
One of the best bands of the 1980s Pet Shop Boys..............I have been a fan since 1986...............they are still going strong and have no immediate plans to retire as of yet

Arguably one of best albums of 1980s is the fifth album from Irish rock band U2 The Joshua Tree became one of the best selling albums in the world shifting over 25M copies and earning 10 platinum discs this album launched U2 into the mainstream from being cult artists.

C1: 697. (75 − 4) × 10 − 10 − 3 (7)
C2: 697. (75 − 4) × 10 − 10 − 3 (7)
RR: 696. 75 × 10 − (10 − 4) × 3 × 3 (10)
Score: 59–43 (max 75)
A good 1 away solve from our champion and challenger...............Ms Riley gets to shine as does our recap writer.........she gets there by using a divisible by 4 method............like so...........absolutely nothing to do with my all time favourite album Peter Gabriel.......So !
75-10=55
55+3=58
58*3=174
174*4=696
Teatime teaser: EPICVISOR -> PISCIVORE

Is there one final push from our challenger Laura ? as she narrows the gap to 11 points with everything left to play for Winning another round will make this contest very interesting.........so let's see how things go ! But there was an interesting 9 with Cornelian missed by all
Round 14: 75, 5, 9, 2, 6, 10. Target: 388.
C1: 388. 5 × 75 + 9 − 6 + 10 (10)
C2: 387.
Score: 83–64 (max 124)
Sadly not for Laura as she declares 1 away and our champion David lives to fight another day.................sadly for our challenger Laura it is game over

Round 15: V A N N G E L I S
No one buzzes. The answer was ENSLAVING.
Final Score: 83–64 (max 134)
Neither contestant solves the conundrum it is left to certain Rachel Riley and our recap writer to solve the elusive conundrum........our champion David is going really well can he get his third win ? Join me for the next recap...........in the meantime it is bye for now !
