SOUTHERN isn't where you're from? Get NORTHEST instead.

Interestingly, you can slot an M in GERANIUM for GERMANIUM. Didn’t know that.

I was shocked that nobody in the studio spotted GERMANIUM, even more so given that the remaining M was directly below the A (IIRC) when GERANIUM was put up on the board.

TBF, germanium is not a common element so it’s unlikely to be well known.Stewart Gordon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 6:13 pmI was shocked that nobody in the studio spotted GERMANIUM, even more so given that the remaining M was directly below the A (IIRC) when GERANIUM was put up on the board.

True, but one would expect at least one person in the studio to have heard of it, and furthermore have been reminded of it in the circumstances. Indeed, when DC announced GERANIUM, I was half thinking Rachel'll probably put GERMANIUM up on the board.Philip A wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 7:18 pmTBF, germanium is not a common element so it’s unlikely to be well known.Stewart Gordon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 6:13 pmI was shocked that nobody in the studio spotted GERMANIUM, even more so given that the remaining M was directly below the A (IIRC) when GERANIUM was put up on the board.
