Tuesday's here and we have a new champion in the shape of Heather Driver, who becomes the first female champion since Olive Collis nearly 3 months ago.
Can she make it to 2 out of 2 today
I'm off to the see the Mighty Terriers at Spotland to see them play Rochdale tonight, so luckily, it's Ryan's turn again with the recap, which will be available in due course.

Yep. Really enjoyed today. I was nowhere on that conundrum so fair play to Heather getting it in the time she did with it being a crucial. Thought Emma was a good player and I wanted her to win a bit more than Heather but nevermind.
Just caught this game this morning and I'm glad I did. Well played ladies really thought Emma had it in the bag after round 12 so it was quite a turn around. I got a bit excited when I spotted LANDOWNER (I <3 LAND) and thought about waking (non-Looney) Emma up to tell her but then I didn't. I am very considerate.

Glad you're getting into good practices, Dean. I'm fairly sure that "lack of sleep due to celebration" and "lexicographical harassment" are both valid grounds for divorce.
I spotted LANDOWNER too. First my sister shouted out WONDERLAND, which I was quick to tell her was ten letters and used the D twice. However, after subconsciously thinking about the 'LAND' (pre/suf)fix, I came up with LANDOWNER. Incidentally LANDOWNER and ZEMINDAR are synonyms, both of which I have spotted at some point.
