Re: Hyperconundrum alphabet 2
Actually I got 0 out of 22. I finally looked up the answers to the remaining ones and some of them are f*cking hard. As pointed out in a previous post, I'm actually rubbish at anagramming all I can do is remember words I've already seen.

To be honest I didnt think ACEPTARMIGAN was that tricky when I made it, but then I am a chemist Its not some obscure compound name, but if anyone (that hasn't already cheated) wants a clue: Its an easy 8 letter word with a four letter prefix

Re: Hyperconundrum alphabet 2
Purely on the basis that it's a chemistry term I'll have a guess with MANGAPICRATE^.
Edit: Had you gave the hint as physics then my guess would have been PARAMAGNETIC (or ornithology, ACE-PTARMIGAN).

Hey! Gimme a break, at least I got GEOPOLITICAL ... didn't I? I have been processing antiquarian books these last few days so I think I just have that word in my head a lot and as for HELICOPTERAL^ I was not only drunk but I had taken crack.

Re: 11 letter Hyperconundrum alphabet
I thought I would do one of these beasts for a change. Here are 23 eleven letter words for the forum to solve . Apologies if these have been done before on the forum or have been done at a Countdown competition. There are no anagrams for the letters X,Y and Z.
N.B. As soon as this alphabet is finished, another hyperconundrum alphabet will be revealed shortly afterwards. So time is of the essence .
Also, I don't want any show ponies so please restrain yourself to no more than 5 conundrums maximum until the quota has been lifted
1. UANOINTLOCI
2. NURDEDBIRTH
3. MMNNEEEJBAT
4. ENTIREWHACK
5. RADOMEDBLOW
6. BALMYRATION

Leave me alone Joseph cos I'm going through stages in the hormonal system . I best cross out GLORYHOLE and MASOCHISM for my next conundrum alphabet to avoid further accusationsJoseph Bolas wrote:David O'Donnell wrote:Bastard Those were three of my five, gotta get another three now!
Edit: But we did both spot BISEXUALITY Fancy a bum?
I think JaCu is trying to tell us something David. Words that have appeared in previous alphabets, have included BAREBACK and HARDCORE .

Re: Hyperconundrum alphabet 2
Come on people . Some of these are quite simple and yet they still remain unsolved. If they are not solved by tomorrow afternoon, I will have to lift the quota ban which means Dinos has the chance to be the show pony

So anyone who wants to offer some suggestions do it rapidly before Dinos steals most of the credit.
The quota ban has been officially lifted (except for Dinos for now )

I can. In fact I've now got them all except BALMYRATION. I was showing some self-restraint and thought I'd leave a couple for others to solve, esp Doddy and Joseph if they had a few more.jasoncullen wrote:I thought you said you could do all but three of them Dinos?
