I dont know what all the fuss is about, Zimbabwe have had a black president for years and he's crap.
If I suddenly have a squirming baby on my lap it probably means that I should start paying it some attention and stop wasting my time messing around on a Countdown forum

Damian, that's old news!
If you moved to America, would you be a Republican?
Also, this must be a joke at my expense!

I had the Newsnight election special on my DVR, but I hadn't got round to watching it. Now you've ruined it for me. Thanks a lot.

She left Boston Legal! That show was canceled!
She married the original American host of Password. That's why I think she would be good in Dictionary Corner on Countdown.

If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?

There will be no more new episodes of Boston Legal after you're done watching it. Boston Legal is a good show, but it run its course here in America. That's why it's canceled.

Yes. It's a sad fact that cookies do eventually crumble. And that makes them no good for dunking in coffee.Jason Larsen wrote:That's the way the cookie crumbles!
Can you buy Hobnobs in the states? They go well with Countdown.

You can get them in New York - there's a grocery store for homesick British ex-pats, next door to a fish and chip shop called "A Salt and Battery". Richard Whiteley would have loved that.
Can you get them in Seattle, Jason?

Re: BREAKING NEWS - Obama elected as US President.
Oh no, I've done no editing on the page. What it was, was that I mistyped the link before when I posted it, so I was correcting that so the link (to the Wiki page) worked . If you look at an above post, you can see my original post, that you quoted, before I fixed the link .Lucy Gowers wrote:Joe, did you edit the Wiki page too?!
