Good game this with a couple of good spots but definitely not my favourite. People still quote me on GASOLINE even now. This Terry as well was a very good player but really fell behind on a couple of obscure spots. Definitely capable of winning at least a few.

Nice review - I enjoyed playing along. The max should be 113 here as I did it (75-50)x25+2Tom wrote:

Can anyone get the first numbers game? Should I give up?

Ah I remember this, you said "I'll try a five" and Richard (Whiteley) replied "what, down to trying a five?" Reminds me of a recent Apterous game when I was forced to risk EXINE because my opponent declared five. In my head I was saying "a risky five" as well.Tom wrote: Round 12: F E C M U V O T E

If you cut a gandiseeg in half, do you get two gandiseegs or two halves of a gandiseeg?

You could just read the solution off the recap, if you like!Lesley Jeavons wrote:Can anyone get the first numbers game? Should I give up?

I'm SURE I looked back there after I couldn't get it and there was no exact solution... I must be going mad. Ta.Martin Gardner wrote:You could just read the solution off the recap, if you like!Lesley Jeavons wrote:Can anyone get the first numbers game? Should I give up?
