Kirk Bevins is OK
It seems like pretty much every post I've made in the past 24 hours has involved disagreeing with Kirk over something. I'm starting to feel quite down about this and am worried that he might be feeling 'got at'. So this thread is a belated Valentine to Kirk Bevins. You're all right, you are.
Post here if you think Kirk is really rather lovely.

If you assume that he's lovely today, you might conclude that he will be lovely tomorrow, so if you can identify one day in the past where he has been lovely, that would prove the initial assumption. But if that works, you might substitute 'obtuse', or 'thick'.

Kirk is great. The fact that he's wrong about almost everything is just unfortunate.

Thanks Phil. I get quite stressed when I can't understand something and I'm glad some of you haven't given up on me. I was starting to wonder whether your posts were maliciously meant but this thread has answered that one, so thanks for that.
As for Jono, most people if they don't understand something accept it and move on. I can't do that, I have to keep battling through it until I finally understand it. That's probably why I got two As at A-level maths and further maths.

Very nice!
Even though there are times when he doesn't always talk to me, I like him! I think he's the kind of person who never beats around the bush.

Hahaha, I think you're right on so many levels, Jason! You're a funny guy!Jason Larsen wrote:I think he's the kind of person who never beats around the bush.
But seriously, Kirk is a totally sound person and I consider it a privilege to be acquainted with him. And although I don't know any of the details of his upcoming appearance, I'm pretty sure he's going to totally kick ass.
Re: Kirk Bevins is OK
I love Kirk. As Jim said he's completely sound, but he also seems to have this sort of lovely naivety and vulnerability about him, which is very endearing, to the point that it gives me a raging hardon.

Yes... next question.Jason Larsen wrote:Of course, but will Kirk appear on Countdown in the near future?
Seriously though, disagreements on this forum don't mean sh*t. If everyone agreed, there would be very little to talk about! It's a bit like when I'm watching Coronation St and I keep thinking why all these weird things keep happening. Well if all the characters were happy all the time, there would be no show!

(Ignoring the fact that it's already been recorded and he's posted on the forum since (or someone pretending to be him?! ))
P.S. I totally apologise for any hurt feelings if you actually did lose, Kirk.

That's very kind of you, Julie. You never know what nerves/pressure/determination makes one do in front of the cameras. I'm well known to be the c4c bottler but not long left to finally find out.Julie T wrote: P.S. I totally apologise for any hurt feelings if you actually did lose, Kirk.

I know, just being honest is good, but you have to have something called tolerance. If you've got that, people will be happy for as long as you are nice to them.

Re: Kirk Bevins is OK
I disagree with Kirk's assertion that the Pepsi Max Big One is the best roller coaster in Britain (that title clearly belongs to Lightwater Valley's The Ultimate, the longest and purest roller coaster in Europe), but to ensure that my simple disagreement with Kirk isn't construed as an unrestrained attack on his character I thought it'd be best to post it in this thread.
Re: Kirk Bevins is OK
If The Ultimate is bigger than Pepsi Max, I don't want to see it! I've already had several heart attacks on that monster of a machine (i.e. Pepsi Max). Here's hoping we don't go to Blackpool ever again!

The fact that a machine named after a drink laden with caffeine and chemicals is capable of inducing heart attacks seems entirely appropriate.Hannah O wrote:I've already had several heart attacks on that monster of a machine (i.e. Pepsi Max).

Kirk looks like a good guy and only my opinion has a striking resemblance to the golfer David Howell http://www.davidhowellgolf.com/
