You’ve been be-four, so let’s do it all again.

The fourth edition of Countdown in Liverpool has been moved to a summer event in order to try to avoid the football season entirely, thereby hoping to ease costs on transport and accommodation for you guys. We are also delighted to be moving to a brand new venue, ideally located just around the corner from Liverpool Lime Street station, which is conveniently more central and easier to get to.

FORMAT: Edinburgh/Lincoln style, six 9-rounder games played in tables of three, top two in the final.
LOCATION: Lime Street Central bar, 51 Lime St, Liverpool, L1 1JQ - conveniently round the corner from the train station.
SCHEDULE: Arrive at 11:00, first games at 11:20. Lunch at 12:30, next rounds at 13:40 and 14:50 then the final at 16:00.
PRIZES: 1st 2nd 3rd and then some fun ones, you know what I am like. Rudest word and best spot and all that nonsense.
PLANS AFTERWARDS: To be confirmed, but I have a few ideas in mind. Liverpool is hardly short of nice bars and restaurants!

* no buffet this time, sorry, change of location. Food at the venue is great, or there's McDonalds and Lidl etc. nearby as well.
