New Years Resolutions 2025

Post by Marc Meakin »

This may have been done in previous years but I need a marker for my resolutions.
1) to lose 3 stone by Christmas.
I have signed up the NHS path to type 2 diabetes remission and it's a years program.

2) to improve my woeful scrabble rating (currently 122 has been 141) by 10 points minimum

3) to break my Co Event duck.
I have entered before but due to circumstances beyond my control have pulled out.
Hopefully Co London

4) To finally get round to making a Will

I'm nearly 62 , so it's about time

I'm using this page as a point of reference really.
4 (and a bit ) weeks in lost 18Kg that's nearly 3 stone in old money.
Blood glucose around 4.8
Lost 2 inches around waist

BusyScrabble schedule in March

I've hit the 4 stone lost mark.
Ive got 2 weeks to go at 800 calories before i can eat proper food again
BMI suggests I've still got a stone or 2 to go
I will be happy with 10 more pounds to be honest putting me on the outer limits of a green BMI.

As for my climb up the Scrabble ratings , still only 3 ratings points ,but I have 9 months to get in the 130s
