With the Paris Olympics around the corner............let's give a special mention to some of the greatest Olympians

Usain Bolt arguably one of the greatest sprinters of all time, he has won an amazing eight gold medals in track and field, he is the only sprinter to win Olympic 100 m and 200 m titles at three consecutive Olympics (2008, 2012, and 2016) and has world record in the 100M 200M and the 4x100M relay, he retired in 2017

Daley Thomson one of the best decathletes winning two golds at the 1980 and 1984 Olympics, he retired from his sport in 1992

Arguably one of the best middle distance rivalries in the 1980s. Sebastian Coe won four Olympic medals, including 1500 metres gold medals at the Olympic Games in 1980 and 1984, he retired from the sport in the early 90s but was instrumental in getting the 2012 Olympics to London, his rival Steve Cram had to settle for a silver medal in the 1500M he retired from the sport in 1994, after athletics he works as a BBC commentator and a motivational speaker on the after dinner circuit.

Another great game by Fiona and Jules, firstly congratulations to Fiona on becoming the first octo-champ for series 90 and becoming a member of the 800 club with score of 819 points that averages out at 103.625 a game this will make her the provisional no 1 seed for this series she will be returning in December for series 90 finals week, secondly take nothing away from Jules she gave as good as she got 72 points is a pretty respectable score by no means.................we welcome two new contestants to the Countdown studios.........join me again for any future recaps........it is bye for now !
