I'll remember that next time I spot REALTIME (which is still two words, apparently...)Ben Pugh wrote:MATERIEL

ARANEIDS
That's come up a couple of times recently I think, but it's never spotted.

I did (50+5)*(9+8), I have all the beaters so far ... could this be my first perfect game? Probably not.

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 13th February
is it just me, or does the current champ have a habit of staring across at his opponent towards the end of the time? I wasn't paying attention in all the rounds, but he definitely did it at some point, presumably he's looking at the clock, but I think I'd find that a bit unnerving!

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 13th February
I thought I had played my first ever perfect game (playing along with the TV, I have got a few against the computer) and have now just realised that I missed the maximum in rd. 1. It's a solver spot so I won't post it.

Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 13th February
He wants to see if she has got a good word (like when he had POULTICE) or whether she has spotted the numbers solution. I keep my head down for the thirty seconds regardless of what I have got so he may find it difficult to get a read on me if ever we play.Michael Wallace wrote:is it just me, or does the current champ have a habit of staring across at his opponent towards the end of the time? Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 13th February
When are you going on the show, Mr. Pugh, because you appear to spotting almost every single spoiler?
Re: Spoilers for Wednesday 13th February
Not right now, I've got too much on my plate right now with exams, coursework, university applications etc. Besides, these threads make me look better than I am, I post the times I spot a reasonably obscure one I've seen before, like STERADIAN, but not the times I miss easy words, which I did a couple of times watching today.David O'Donnell wrote:When are you going on the show, Mr. Pugh, because you appear to spotting almost every single spoiler?

ARANEIDS came up twice today, although I forgot that the T formed STERADIAN on the second time round
