So I was casually reading about logic puzzles and found this, apparently the world's hardest doable sudoku puzzle.
Apparently in the Telegraph's 1-5 star hardness scale it'd get an 11.

Cheers for putting this on, I'll have a bash at it later and say the results if I solved it or not and how long it took me to solve it or give up, certainly looks fiendish

Even using my magic, bright pink puzzle-solving pen, I admitted defeat after 45 minutes.

I tried for about half and hour and was getting nowhere, so sent it my mate, and he got it in 33 mins he said!
I can't verify time, but I have the answer if you want it?
Must admit, I was impressed!!!

I think you have to use the 'trial and error' route, which is apparently the only way to do diabolical sudoku puzzles, I always find that a tad controversial and kind of defeats the meaning of it - surely there should ALWAYS be a way forward without 'guessing'?

Turns out that Sudokus are the biggest waste of human life ever invented. Don't waste your time.

I used to like them, and could do the hardest ones where there was ALWAYS a way of figuring out the next number with a technique like 'X' winging etc, etc, but as I said above the ones where you HAVE to guess are for me, is not my idea of a good puzzle.

2 days and I have got officially nowhere, although I might use this as a joke on some avid puzzler and watch them squirm

Have you tried the 'trial-by-error' tactic?
