So, we're approaching the climax of Week 16 of Series 65, and after a pretty impressive comeback topped off by that conundrum spot, Beryl is still the champ. Can she stay there for the week's end

Must admit I was wondering if she was possibly gonna be in with a shout of breaking the oldest ever winner age. I think it's 84/87, so definitely not then.
Nucleus is excellent, Tracey. Had unisex personally.
976 in round 14 was there, with (7*3+10+8)*25+1, but was 977 there?
And how she didn't see SNEAKIEST after the challenger declared SNAKIEST i'm not too sure! Good episode though, some nice letters selections even if it took me about 15 seconds to remember the eights in round 12...
OPENERS in round 8, LEOTARDS in round 9, don't know how everyone missed that. DELATORS is another alternative, while DERATION is an alternative for ORDINATE/RATIONED.
2nd numbers alt: ((6x4)+100)x2-5=243. 976 on the final numbers.
At first I thought Sam said SNEAKIEST on the conundrum, which is a possible explanation for Beryl not getting it.
I'm pretty sure in some accents snakiest could potentially be pronounced the same as sneakiest. It's a Countdown Conspiracy, which there are far too many of these days. I should make them into a book.

I thought Sam said SNEAKIEST too, but having watched it back he definitely said SNAKIEST. Jeff repeated the word back as well to confirm what he'd said.
