Spoilers For Tuesday May 17th 2011

Post by James Robinson »

So, while I prepare for my date with destiny on Pointless, let's remind ourselves of what's been going on in the Countdown world.

After the pulverisation job yesterday, Tom has guaranteed his place in the finals, and will now be trying to aim for a high finish. But are the top 2 out of reach even at this stage :?: (No, but he would have to average around 120 for each of his last 3 shows.)

To see if Tom can make it 6 of the best, join me for my first and ONLY recap this week later on. ;) :) :D

How did dictionary corner not spot that you can put the U in posadas for pousadas? Also the way Rachel wrote out Tom's solution would have got you 427.

Great work coming through a tight game Tom; very well worked out on the conundrum too.
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U

C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)

Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

Yeah, that conundrum cost me a max game. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Very good again, although getting 257/264 points in your last 2 games to reach 2nd/1st seems a huge ask.
