Welcome to the forum Ned.

People normally post tournaments in either apterous.org or events (apterous.org is more common I think). Tournaments you can sign up for at the moment include the 'Apterous Masters' (it would have to be a qualifier application) and AptoSos. New tourneys keep coming up from time to time, so keep a look out.

We are all nice here, we don't bite (at least, hardly any of us...and not often, don't worry!!), although some of us are sweary and I think you are sweary too. You swore. lol. Even crazier than...well, everyone on c4c is crazy, but I'd rate myself the craziest; if anyone disagrees with me, YAY! And if anyone agrees with me, still YAY! You gotta learn that everyone on c4c is weird, crazy, but nice.
Here's a fact: online, with my friends and at home, I'm crazy and loud and stuff, but when I'm at school in lessons or somewhere where I hardly know anyone, I'm quiet and a bit shy. Quite hard to believe, I know. But that's how crazy and weird and strange and cuckoo and random and stuff I am. lol.
This is a great site and you can chat about loads of things, not even just Countdown, as my may have noticed already, but also there are 'Off-Topic' (where you can chat about more or less anything unrelated (is unrelated even a word? Sounds plausible...)) , 'Other game shows' and a lot more topics.
You can even do Recaps, where you kind of record the past games (and you can do recent recaps which are called Current Recaps - and there is a forum for those - or Historical Recaps which are games mostly back in the '90s - and there's also a forum for those. Do you know how to do recaps? If you don't, ask someone else; I'm rubbish at explaining. Ok, well, to be honest, my brother (Joseph, who's 12) almost always has to help me with recaps even though I've been doing recaps for about 1-2 months now. But I do, honestly, do most of the recaps myself, it's just that every time, I need to get my brother to check everything and help me if I don't know what to do - I'm always nervous if I submit it without him checking in case I made a mistake!

I'm an avid Forest fan and love Jeff's Soccer Saturday malarkey (so sad he's leaing Countdown!) and I like my horseracing as well. Oh, and cricket. And ice hockey. And snooker. Okay, I like sport.
