Spoilers For Monday February 28th 2011

Post by James Robinson »

So, we begin a new week, as we end the old month, and with yet another octochamp possibly being crowned today.

Ned Pendleton has won 7 games, some by the skin of his teeth, but he can crown his run in glory today with a win. I'm pretty sure he'd quite like to break 3 figures too, although I should point out (although it's very unlikely) that if he wins with less than 62 points, a certain "record that must not be named" will be broken again. :?

In DC this week, making his debut, is TV presenter, sports broadcaster, quiz show host and most importantly, son of Judith Chalmers, Mark Durden-Smith.

Ryan is taking a break this week, so putting a bounce into his step with today's recap, is Marcus Hares.

Join him later on. ;) :) :D

Yup, pretty well heard of from around a year ago, when it was nearly broken on 3 occasions (Actually it was broken on one of those 3), but it's not a thing mentioned much now, hence it's referred to as the "record that must not be named".

That was unlucky for Emmet. Your one time in the countdown studio and Rachel's got nothing on show. No legs or cleavage or anything. I suspect hubby to be was behind that outfit.

PITTAS/GAITS - I don't recall that ever happening before, host wrongly going to the longer word first. JR - what's the damage, how many times has that happened?

A long time to reply, but here I go.

It's possibly the first time that it has happened under the Stelling leadership, although it certainly happened on a few occasions under Des O'Connor. In fairness, there's not too much damage, as the contestants can't alter their words, as they've already said how long their words are.
