Re: Series 80 Player Analysis and Ongoing Discussion Thread (Spoilers Inside!)

Well Maggie's stats throw a bit of a spanner in the works as her overall max count is a good 10 points higher than Brendan's This doesn't surprise me at all actually. It was just the close debut game between herself and John which brought her score down really. Her letters stats are not actually th...

Series 80 Player Analysis and Ongoing Discussion Thread (Spoilers Inside!)

Hi all, as promised I've started an analysis of those who are in the running to be finalists. I'll start with the 3 octochamps that we have at the moment, and will make additions as the series progresses. Dinos Sfyris Current Seed: 1 Wins: 8 Points: 918 (114.75 per game) Total Max: 81/120 (67.5%) Le...

But then he started struggling and the comeback was on. Was a very good game- did feel for Alist...

I was surprised to see that Maggie only got 794 points actually. Especially considering Dinos got 918 and I didn't think he was actually that much better. I suppose it was the lack of 9s and also greater inconsistency on the numbers. I think that the 1st score played a part, though she was up again...

Nice second numbers solve there but slightly easier is (100-8)x75/25-10+50 (though sadly out of time). Standard method for last numbers: (75-50)x25+100+10. Shame that he was paired up with Maggie, probably some of the best non-apterite gameplay I have seen in a while. The 4L solve was class. Yet, I...
