Dylan only needs 113 to break Giles's Octo-scoring record! Dylan also needs a record breaking 147 to reach 1,000! Will anyone EVER reach 1,000, as Dylan has - up to now - a commanding record % of his total max's, so far (at 92.22%), how good do you have to be to hit 1,000?

Maybe if Conor started afresh - right now - he would probably get close, but how many Conors and Dylans are there out there?

Typically, the max score for an entire octorun is around 1,000; some are even lower. Somebody ought to put Apterous Rex on TV.

An absolute top player, with no conundrum misses, plenty of 9s (at least 5 - probably more realistically 6 or more), no rounds dropped to the opposition and virtually no maxes missed with 1 or 2L in numbers for the entirety of their run, could probably scrape 1,000. It's probably possible for about 3 people who haven't gone on the show yet/will go on again (barring a 1100+ available max with an absolute tonne of 9s - even then, probably only a few more players who haven't gone on already would be capable of reaching it).

Did I see Nick go to Mike for first go at one of Dylan's numbers games? If so, I'm wondering if Nick noticed maybe Mike didn't write it down. Could have saved an embarrassing situation and wouldn't have affected the outcome of the game, so if so, well done Nick!
