I reckon it was Mark D and the Countdown Team did not realise until after the recording that it was Mark Deeks who had applied under an alias.

I thought I had hyperion in round 1, but instead HYPERON was fine. STEPDAD in round 4 too.

Hmm, so how many times does Nick mention a contestant's opponent's name from two shows previous?! That was weird!!!
