Spoilers for Thursday June 13th 2013 (Series 68 Prelim 60)

This is it, the last prelim of what appears to have been a short series at least in terms of prelim matches. And it ends with Glen Webb continuing to win, and average an impressive 117 per game. Hopefully he can keep it up with a 7th win to make him undefeated in this series, and carrying over into the next. Can he do it? If he can't, the consolation prize is that he'd still make the finals, and would play Joe McGonigle. After today, the fate of Chris Ball, and possibly Peter Fenton as well, will be settled, and the field will be set.

When they started talking about NAVVIES I looked at Heather sitting behind me and we agreed at once they were talking rubbish as only NAVIES was there. Unfortunately they didn't edit it out - that should generate a few complaints.

Don't credit me for this one, I'm watching with a friend today, and he got EVASIONS in the CASINOS round.

It's apto-valid, we may need to have a talk with the OED people then.
Another strong performance from Glen, hopefully this puts him in a strong position within Series 69, probably will be hard to top his score if he wins then. And I bet the series 68 field is breathing a bit easier now that they don't have to deal with Glen in the finals.

And the only round that cost me a max game. Darn. Oh well, back-to-back 14 maxers isn't exactly rubbish.
Good to see Glen going over to S69 though. Should make it an interesting start, and assuming he becomes an octochamp, his score will almost certainly in the mid 900's. Maybe it will get some of the people going on there try and hit the magic 1,000 mark.
(Although, if selections go against them, it can't be helped.
)
