Isn't there a convention that the clue should be at least mildly cryptic? The first of yesterday's teasers was:
VINORISE - "It's what all good students should do before the exam."
This just seemed like a straight clue to the answer, unless there's some cunning piece of wordplay that I missed.

Usually it alludes to the scramble doesn't it? So it's implying that students often drink wine when they wake up before an exam.
