Hi

Am relevantly new to Apterous, but enjoying it (am in reality trying to feel at ease with the programme)

Has anyone recently updated their Java and discovered that the new version won't work on Firefox or Chrome?

Also, is there any need to worry about the warning of Java exploitations which are rife (the warnings - probably the exploitations too) on the net.

Answering my own question

I got the Java update working on my XP machine by removing the JavaFX first, and then installing.

Still not working on my Win 7 64bit - hmmmmmmmmmmm

I had trouble with it, but clearing the cache after upgrading did the trick. I also removed the Firefox addin, which appears to be pointless.
