Spoilers For Monday December 3rd 2012

So, we have now hit December and like this time last year, we could have a "sort of" early finish to the final placings of this series, as I'll now explain (although I'm sure a lot of you have worked it out by now)..........
Sohail our new champion would have to be that 8th person, but the only way he can do that is to not lose until his 8th show, and even then he would need another 641 points on top of his current 82 to guarantee that. (Basically, what I'm saying is that if he becomes an octochamp, it's pretty much straightforward.) But, if he loses, then the finalists (and especially a relieved Grant Waters) will be all sorted.
His opponent, Duncan Conway, has already made the newspapers (and also featured on
Have I Got News For You too), because of his "hairy" antics, but let's see if his brain power is as broad as his hairs on the top of his chest.
Back in DC is the magician extraordinaire, Paul Zenon.
Graeme will be around with the recap later.

Bit of a bad start for Sohail missing ENACTORS that he got on Friday's show.............
OSTRACON was there in that round too.

Just noticed that the letters have been poorly shuffled from Friday's show, so far...........
Round 1: 1 letter difference from Round 6 on Friday.
Round 2: 1 letter difference from Round 1 on Friday.
Round 3: Exactly the same letters as Round 12 on Friday.
Round 4: 2 letters difference from Round 6 on Friday.
Work that one out............
FLEAPIT in round 2 and FAIRISH/FISHIER in round 3.

(100+25+4)*7+(75+6)

Interesting that PITFALL came up in round 2 (not spotted on Friday but it was available in round 1 then). Round 3 was also an identical selection to round 12 on Friday (except order). Some pretty questionable shuffling going on.
Quite a good game I thought, Sohail looks pretty useful.
