It was all over so quickly though, that I hadn't actually noticed the scramble until now. Anna Southgate would have been in pieces :)

Have to admire Kai - for an 11 year old not to giggle when he saw the conundrum 'Lornas Bum' and instead buzz in with the correct answer in about two seconds is astounding. Also, just a hint of a smirk when he declared 'erecting' . He has missed what you would think were one or two obvious words in other days so with just the minor of tweaks he could become one of Countdown's greats - perhaps he is on a year or so too soon? He is certainly the most exciting young player since Conor and is getting the programme some welcome newspaper publicity.
And well done to Howard for the quality of the recap.....
