As we end this week, David Barnard has dominated the majority of it, getting three wins and on strong track to win a fourth. Can he do it? It's the end of Gyles Brandreth, and I liked him better when he wore the odd sweaters. Where's that Gyles?

Round 1: as well as the classic 8s there's DESOLATE, but OED lists it as an adjective and doesn't allow the addition of the left over R
Round 6: David unlucky with REPLIANT (not in Scrabble), here again with RELATION the OED does not allow the P hook! 2 nines in Scrabble though - wont bore you with them!
Round 12: The plausible TEALIGHT is two words in the OED
