i do a lot of quiz and game nights in the London region and I want countdown to feature in the fun, but those cards in the board games are so damn small

so where do the cards come from that are used on the show? - i suppose the material is more than just cardboard?

id love to have my own "real" countdown cards - maybe even in different colours to recreate all the eras of countdown - including the dreaded red and white era of 1989!!!!

yes i have never forgot those red letter days of series 18 and i was only age 9 at the time

I believe the letters are made of linoleum and I seem to recall they're either 6" x 6" or 9" x 9" - can't remember which.

They look bigger on TV. :)
EDIT: Ah, isn't that the numbers tiles; what size are the letters tiles?

just thought

what ever happened to the old cards that were used in previous eras of the show, are they kept or are they thrown in the bin?
