A very enjoyable game. Unlucky to Suzi who I thought was very impressive.

Well done to Nick for keeping his cool, shame Suzy missed on the numbers.
The easy way to 878 is ((100+10)x8)-(5-3) of course.

As I prothesized, another nail-biter, although with 3 rounds to go, you wouldn't have guessed it. Very good comeback by Nick.
MOPIER in round 2, OPERANDS in round 4, MINORED in round 7.
3rd Numbers Alt.: (100 + ((8 + 1) x 9)) x 4 = 724

A difficult surgical procedure, I think, or a risky party trick. Or a made-up word?James Robinson wrote:As I prothesized, another nail-biter
Anyway, nothing constructive to add other than I've been enjoying the QFs so far - top quality entertainment, aided by the great Phil Hammond. Congratulations to all of the contestants.

Prophesied, I suspect. Though if it's any comfort, someone else has already used your version.James Robinson wrote:Lol, yeah, I'm still trying to work out what word I'm thinking of.
