Effective immediately, ITV1's daytime quiz show The Chase has been canceled. It has been getting consistently low ratings and has recently failed to get satisfactory viewing figures.

Taking it's place on ITV1's daytime schedule will be Price is Right USA, featuring comedian Drew Carey as host and former American daytime Weakest Link host George Gray as announcer.

"We feel that Price is Right USA will give us the ratings boost we need to improve ITV1's daytime schedule. Laughs are what we think we need to keep viewers interested in watching ITV1's daytime schedule again, and Drew Carey and George Gray are both hilarious men," ITV1's president said.

Come on down to Price is Right USA, starting tomorrow at 5:00pm on ITV1.

David, I'm not sure who you are but I do know for a fact that The Price is Right is not coming back to the UK. I would much rather see Phillip Schofield hosting it than anyone else if it did. Joe Pasquale should stick to comedy.
