Wendy Gabriel won yesterday, however she won with the lowest winning score since the end of Series 65. Can she win more convincingly today? Fiona Armstrong is still getting through her first week of Countdown, and so far...don't love her and don't hate her. We'll see if that changes later on.
What will not change is that Kieran will bring you the Tuesday recap later.

Rachel was very gracious in the last numbers when she selected to do another solution, rather than point out to Alison that she could have subtracted 9/9 to get the target. Alt first numbers ((100-1)x9)-(3x10)+2 = 863 and second numbers
((50+10+5)x7)+4 = 459.

Quite a decent debut performance by Alison, although her numbers may need some improvement.
MIAULED in round 11.
1st numbers: (100-3)x9-10 = 863
3rd numbers: (25+9)x4+9+2 = 147

OVERTIPS in round 3 and BENIGN in round 4.
3rd Numbers Alt.: ((25 x 10) / 2) + 9 + 9 + 4 =
147

Actually, I think I prefer it like this. I never really understood why they need to hide most of the board behind that blue mask they normally superimpose over it. Opinions? Maybe it's to avoid those reflections on the silvery bits.

Presumably, considering that they never used to do it in the past.
Always interesting to see them when they redo it in the edit at the end of the recording, while watching it in the audience.
That editor needs a kick up the backside though for those 3 mistakes in 2 days.
