Spoilers for Friday February 17th 2012 (Series 66 Prelim 30)
30 Prelims into the series already, that surprises me. Gone by pretty quickly.
Our own Chris Butler is still in the champ's chair after a clash of the apterites yesterday. Will he get his third win today and end the week on that march towards the final? No word if there's another aperite today, if there is, we'll be pleasantly surprised. Gloria Hunniford's last day for now is this week...hooray. Although I hear next week is Anne Widdecombe so I might be wishing for her back after seeing a couple days of Anne. Not too much else to say really.

Why does Chris keep on asking for "Bowels" and "Continent"s?

Decent performance again backed up by a lightning quick conundrum. Keep it up dude.
Now Chris had told me on apto that he'd won his first three games and there was a couple of weeks' gap in filming after today's show, so I'm looking forward to next week's shows without knowing the results, and potentially expecting Chris to look totally different which would be funneh.

When I was in the chair with Gloria in DC, she kept shouting out the answers during the 30 seconds. I wonder if she shouted "WOMENS" which caused both players to pick that as an invalid word in round 11?

Congratulations, Chris!
The mentions on the show of it being Nick's birthday today causes me to point out the coincidence that it is also Charlie Reams birthday today according to the forum main page.
Many happy returns to both Charlie and Nick.
I expect that Charlie would also have appreciated a kiss from Rachel.
Alternate round 5 solution:
(100 + 3) X (6/3) = 206
206 + 10 + 1 = 217
PATTERN in round 7
edit: round 12 actually
Alternate round 14 solution:
100 X (3 + 5) = 800
800 - 50 - 9 = 741

IMPOSE was my offering in round 11, although not a max. Thought it odd that both contestants went for the invalid WOMENS - possible Stewart only risked it as Chris declared a 6James Robinson wrote: PARTITE/PATTERN in round 12.

CANDIRU in round 3, MANURES in round 6 and PARTITE/PATTERN in round 12.
Very well done again, Chris. 3 90's scores. Let's hope for 5 more good scores next week, although his opponent on Monday is gonna be a tough one to beat methinks............
