Neil Hewitt won with 81 yesterday, although Rachel got the conundrum solve. Can Nick keep going, and if so, can Rachel be the first ever co-host to solve all 8 conundrums in an octochamp run? If so, Kai Laddiman, eat your heart out. Dr. Phil Hammond is in dictionary corner, and he's already come up with the greatest cure in medical history. He's made me forget all about Mickey Vox or whoever that bland cricket player was last week. Bless you plum man, bless you until the end.
Recap....eventually....sometime....in the future.

Apologies if it was mentioned in the show, but IDIGBO was there in one of the early rounds. (3 or 4?)

Not a great contest today ... but Esther seemed to bring out the best in Nick H - he was gentler and warmer, and there was a hint of a flirt at the end ... and unlike with Jeff and Rachel, it was more appropriate to his age. So - very enjoyable, despite the contest and letters being unexciting. Of course helped by Dr. Phil: he still rates in my book as head-and-shoulders above anyone else as the DC-guest - natural, sharp-witted and funny, finds his own words, and has a lovely chemistry with Susie without crowding her space.
