I just blocked another person on Apterous. Jez Robinson should be banned from Apterous instantly.
Anyone who tells me to fudge off when I've barely met them is not very nice. I was looking for Alan O'Donnell yesterday morning. He was clearly there when I challenged him. So, I kept asking for him in the chat box which I believe is the right thing to do. I never heard from him and then Jez butted in. Mean guy. Charlie, work your magic.
P.S. Charlie better not have banned Billy the Kid either

Re: Jez Robinson
Jason, in life, people will insult you. You just have to get used to it.

No, this is not the right thing to do. The right thing to do if somebody doesn't respond to your challenge is to challenge somebody else instead.Jason Larsen wrote:So, I kept asking for him in the chat box which I believe is the right thing to do.

Re: Jez Robinson
Yea. If someone isn't responding to a challenge, there's a decent chance they've left temporarily and forgot to put their away status. In that case, they will not be able to respond if you ask them in chat, unfortunately.
Also, yes, people you've never seen or met will insult you, especially on the internet. Happens to me, happens to everyone. There's some people who just won't be nice to you. So it goes.

There are no such things as methods. Only madness.

I think you should ask once and then leave it.
