Yes, I know it's going to have to be super big to knock Libya and the cricket off the headlines, but I think the return of our favourite game show just about makes the cut.

It's been off too long, but at last, it's back on our screens, and hopefully we're in for a humdinger of a time as we head towards the finals, which we assume will be around Christmas time.

Just to remind you where we are, the last preliminary, exactly one month ago, featured 2 new challengers, and Peter Staniland took the honours, so he'll be in the champions' chair today, but for how long

Back in DC this week, fresh from finish joint 3rd in the "Worst DC Newbie" list is Coronation Street legend, William Roache.

Ryan will be recapping for us all later.

I read out all of Deeks's's post's about Andrea to Heather on Tuesday night after I'd watched the episode and was checking the spoiler thread.
Then this morning at 4am or whenever it was I wake up to find the TV is on and Heather is watching Andrea on the Countdown repeat.
If you've turned my girlfriend all lezzy again I'll kill you Deeks.
