Rachel is only 24, I doubt very much if she has seen a penis.

Chorlie - how easy would it be to see if anything like this has come up on apterous? I saw this a while ago and I still feel like it's astonishingly improbable, makes me wonder if it was a stunt. Obviously there are tons of different permutations of words you could get coming out that would still seem 'remarkable', but that selection just seems too perfect.

Maybe start with how many times the first 5 letters have spelt PENIS (or even how many times the first 3 consonants were PNS and the first two vowels EI?).

Would be pretty easy, although given the vagaries of shuffling it might not be that accurate. Do you mean the first 5 letters of a round or of a game?

Of a round ideally, although if game is much easier we could start with that given how many datodes there would be. We also need other candidate words that would seem similarly 'funny' were they to pop out.

I'll post some proper stats later, but I did find this excellent selection.

PENIS popped out 8 times from 2,686,045 selections (for Normal variant blah blah). Counting selections where it occurred in order but not necessarily as the first 5 takes the total to 35.

Erm, don't you mean 25 :?: It's not like they didn't make a whole song and dance about it on episode 2 of the last series............ http://www.c4countdown.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6181

THROTTLES? Out of those letters?
