CoNot puzzles

Evening all
I'm going to post the puzzles from the CoNot puzzle mag/booklet/thingy here over the coming few days. I'll start off with one I call 'name the Countdowner'. Can you name the c4c/apterous member from just these four pictures, all in some way related to the person in question?

Picture four is from Liam Herringshaw's father's website. Is that in any way relevant?

It's Jon Corby, although I don't understand the first picture, the other three all tie in so I'm pretty confident.

Jim's right- the first picture is of a landmark in a certain town in Northamptonshire.
