So, with "The Stanmore Supernova" through to tomorrow's final, who will join him? Edward "The Newry kNockout" McCullagh" or Mary "Adding" Adie?
Here are the stats:
Firstly, The Newry kNockout - 9 Wins, 997 Points
Highest Score: 121 vs. Lalitha Thyagajaran (7th Game)
Lowest Score: 97 vs. David Clerkin (2nd Game)
9's Achieved: 3/3
Total Points/Max/%: 90.8%
Conundrum Success: 7/9
Secondly, Adding - 6 Wins, 584 Points
Highest Score: 95 vs. Barbara Grice (2nd Game, not including TB)
Lowest Score: 58 vs. Chris Childs (6th Game)
9's Achieved: 0/0
Total Points/Max/%: 69.4 %
Conundrum Success: 4/8 including TB, 3/7 not including.
My predictions don't tell a lot, only that, by scrolling further up the page, EDWARD will win this match.
I've just realised this will be my 1,000th post

So go
here (slightly later than usual, I'm afraid) or Liam Tiernan later on.

And today's weird nicknames are Edward "I Have Blood On My Apterous Avatar" McCullagh and Mary "I Have A Goose Run" Adie. (Sorry Gavin if this throws you off again)

Yes, lots of eights. What a brilliant numbers game. It's obvious when you see him do it like that, but there as so many ways to get close to the target that I find that way quite counter-intuitive. Well done.

Well done Ed, great stuff.
Really looking forward to the big final showdown tomorrow between the two big guns.

Ed played amazing. Though Mary fell apart, making the score a bit more flattering, in terms of who was gonna win the game it didn't matter.

The first one? I know what you mean about lots of different ways, but it wasn't exactly what I'd call brilliant. I saw it the same way fairly quickly.

Yeah, excellent game from Ed. Despite being the number two seed, I think overall he's probably been a bit stronger than Adam so starts favourite in my eyes. And unfortunately Mary didn't play anything like she did against Tom Barnes.

That was a corker of a semi. Very impressive, Eddie.

And a 13-maxer to boot (or should that be 14....

)
3rd Numbers Alt. (Bit late, I know): (((9 - 7) x 25) + 6) x 8 =
448
