So, we now enter the quarter-finals of Series 64, but due to holidays, I'll probably know who wins the series about a few days after everyone else.
So, for the last time this series, here's the Robinson Recap.
Enjoy.

DC: limehouse MUESLI (6)
OT: HELIUM (6) HOLISM (6) HOLMES (6) ISOHEL (6) MOHELS (6) MOLIES (6) MULIES (6) MULISH (6)
Score: 0–6 (max 6)
Oh dear, not a good start for Michelle, as misses one of many 6's available.
A MOHEL (as Adam might know) is the person who performs the circumcision in the Jewish rite of circumcising a male child on the eighth day after his birth.
In Classical Mythology, a MOLY is a herb given to Odysseus by Hermes to counteract the spells of Circe.
Round 2: Y I Z A S E R N D
C1: SANDIER (7)
C2: SARDINE (7)
DC: ZANDER (6)
OT: YANDIES (7)
Score: 7–13 (max 13)
7's for the contestants here, gets Michelle off the mark.
Round 3: G N A D B E A L I
C1: BEADING (7)
C2: BANDAGE (7)
DC: beadling BADINAGE (8)
Score: 14–20 (max 21)
A very impressive darrenic 8 by DC here, as the contestants stick with 7's.
Round 4: N A W U P A D M S
C1: PANDAS (6)
C2: PANDAS (6)
DC: PADSAW (6)
OT: MANDAPS (7)
Score: 20–26 (max 28)
A very unusual darrenic 7 is avoided as the contestants take hold of some PANDAS.
Round 5: 100, 7, 2, 4, 4, 7. Target: 276.
C1: 285.
C2: 276. (100 - (4 x 2)) x (7 - 4) (10)
Score: 20–36 (max 38)
Oh dear, Michelle seems to have left her maths brain at home today, with her being well far away from the target.....
Alistair carries on with his impressive poems by doing poems about lists and love.
Teatime teaser: BOILVINO -> OBLIVION
Round 6: T E R O V E C R N
C1: CONVERTER (18)
C2: CONVERTER (18)
DC: RECONVERT (18)
Score: 38–54 (max 56)
But her letters brain is definitely in the studio, as she gets her first 9 in the studio, while Adam gets his 5th.
Round 7: T O A S T E G T O
C1: TATTOOS (7)
C2: TATTOOS (7)
Score: 45–61 (max 63)
How weird that that is the 2nd time that Adam has got TATTOOS on the show, especially with the configuration of letters needed to get that.
Round 8: R E G O L A R U D
C1: REGULAR (7)
C2: REGULAR (7)
DC: ROULADE (7)
OT: RUDERAL (7)
Score: 52–68 (max 70)
The 2 REGULARs get ermmmm............ REGULAR.
Round 9: T I K R E A Q S I
C1: STREAK (6)
C2: AIRIEST (7)
DC: SKATER (6)
OT: KEITAIS (7) SIRTAKI (7)
Score: 52–75 (max 77)
And Adam takes his lead past a score with his 7 here.
Susie's Origins Of Words talks about the origins of "being hammered".
Round 10: 75, 6, 2, 7, 1, 4. Target: 229.
C1: 229. ((7 - 4) x 75) + 6 - 2 (10)
C2: 229. ((2 + 1) x 75) + 4 (10)
Score: 62–85 (max 87)
Michelle visibly struggled with this, well, let's be honest, a sitter of a numbers game.
Teatime teaser: MOREVINO -> OMNIVORE
Round 11: P E N B I G E X T
C1: BEEPING (7)
C2: BEEPING (7)
DC: BEIGNET (7)
OT: EXIGENT (7)
Score: 69–92 (max 94)
EXIGENT is an adjective meaning requiring immediate action or aid; urgent; pressing.
Round 12: H A S I P O M F C
C1: CHAMOIS (7)
C2: CHAMOIS (7)
DC: facism
OT: CHAMISO (7) ISOPACH (7)
Score: 76–99 (max 101)
A very impressive spot by the contestants, as the Nazis are still banned by the dictionary.
A CHAMISO is a saltbush, Atriplex canescens, of the western U.S. and Mexico, having grayish, scurfy foliage.
An ISOPACH is a line drawn on a map connecting all points of equal thickness of a particular geologic formation.
Round 13: L E M L A S I R O
C1: SMALLER (7)
C2: MORALISE (8)
Score: 76–107 (max 109)
And that's the game wrapped up for Adam, who hasn't dropped a point in 9 consecutive rounds now.
Round 14: 6, 3, 10, 7, 5, 1. Target: 899.
C1: -
C2: 899. (5 x 3 x 6 x 10) - 1 (10)
Score: 76–117 (max 119)
And he even enjoys some showboating with a 6 small selection.
Round 15: A L A D C O P E S
C2 buzzes on 15.5 seconds to say SPACELOAD which is incorrect.
C1 does not buzz.
The answer was LOADSPACE.
Final Score: 76–117 (max 129)
Ack, don't you just hate it when you don't know which way round a certain word is Adam certainly knows now, but lucky for him, the result was already wrapped up. On the down side, it would've been his highest score on the show if he said LOADSPACE instead of spaceload.
But never mind, a very enjoyable quarter-final which saw Adam show off his skills well might give some of his possible opponents in the audience a few sleepless nights.
Adam will be back on Wednesday for his semi-final against either #4 Seed Andy "The Leeds Leviathan" McGurn or #5 Seed Ned "The London Leviathan" Pendleton. (You think of some other cool words beginning with L )
Mike will join you tomorrow for the 2nd quarter-final which is between #2 Seed Eddie "The Newry kNockout" McCullagh and #7 Seed Andrew "The Newcastle kNow-It-All" McNamara. (You think of some cool words beginning with N )
So, my next recap will be the 3rd recap of Series 65 on June 8.
So, til then, bye bye.
Oh, and for Sunday, UP THE TERRIERS!!!!

Writing Home
After 6 years together, sex was dying out
There was no longer anything to write home about,
Which was a shame.
My parents used to love those letters.
