Pretty Crazy game here 26-0 down after missing MOUSETRAP and FOOTERED on my own pick, go on to score 148. Ah what might have been...

Max = Metamax between Innis and I...

http://apterous.org/viewgame.php?game=45581

Should be noted my contribution was rubbish... picking two 9s that Innis got and I didn't.

Don't really how rare/easy this is really?

ITYM "Innis and me".

Impressive game though, should probably put something like that on the stats.

At long bloody last

Well, I've actually only been trying to get a perfect conundrum attack since yesterday, but it feels like it took forever.

Perfect 5 seconds conundrum attack:

http://www.apterous.org/viewgame.php?game=46400

I think I could probably do 3 seconds if I was really lucky, but the psychological effect of having so little time is tricky.

I had 14/14 here against Junaid, including two nines. I got the conundrum instantly and pressed P, but, oh no, I'm locked out, Junaid buzzed on 0.7 seconds. Ridiculous. I'm counting this as a moral max game as I spotted PURCHASED instantly too but it won't ever be recorded :(

On slightly differnet logic, I claim this as a max 9 rounder: http://apterous.org/viewgame.php?game=46031
It was a pretty strange game anyway. Round 12 was immensely amusing (to me) because I had no idea it was a word, but I thought I might as well risk it for the hell of it.
After 5 rounds we were discussing how annoyed Kirk would be if he whitewashed me on apterous, and then I beat him on the show. :D But neither happened/ will happen. :(

I guess I agree with that. As we discussed before, the idea of a "max" with conundrums is pretty much meaningless anyway.

Not my highest score, but my highest number of maxes:

http://apterous.org/viewgame.php?game=49297

The 2 letters maxes I missed were a little obscure.
I find that Waldorf often gets conundrums, so I went a bit early for a rather daft guess.
Other than that, rather better than my usual! :D

My highest score for a 15-rounder.

http://www.apterous.org/viewgame.php?game=49359

I saw METREAGE at the very end of round 2, only a fraction too late, so that's a tad frustrating, but I'm still happy with this game, obviously. :)

An absolutely mad Speedgoat. 6 nines! Pity about the number games though - with two easier ones I could have had the highest scoring Speedgoat in apterous history, but it wasn't to be. This was seriously one of the most enjoyable games I've ever had though

Unbelievably, I noted ROOFIES immediately in round 1, then I noted FISHER, and I convinced myself that ROOFIES wasn't in and chickened out of declaring it. If Richard had declared first, I would have gone with it. Sigh.

Brackets? You should never need to use brackets if clicking the numbers. When typing the solution into the notes box, yes, but clicking the numbers, no.

Srsly? If I were on for a max I would totally not want my opponent to not try on the conundrum, would taint it for me if they did. Each to their own, I guess.
