Cryptic Crossword #5 - rePRIZEd

Right, last one for quite a while I think as I'm sure you're quite sick of them by now!
Download
the grid from here and complete as much of it as you can.
Send me a message by
22:30 on
Sunday 24th April 2011 with as many correct answers as you have and the link included.
Winner will be either the one who has done the most/completed it and if there are more than one then winner is randomly picked.
Prize will be erm, shit, as usual but it's better than nothing (hopefully) so give it a go, you might get addicted.
Thank you, much love.

Results!
The solution to the crossword can be
downloaded from here to clear anything up.
There were 4 people who solved the grid and the associated connection and they were:
- - Matt Bayfield
- Innis Carson
- Bob De Caux
- Michael Wallace
Whilst Phil (Reynolds) completed the full grid but agonisingly didn't get the connection. I also know that Dinos had done all but 3 clues although didn't have the connection.
It seems harsh to only have one "winner" to get the prize but then again the prize is really corny anyway so I'm sure none of you are fussed. By true randomness the Prize Receiver is
Michael Wallace.
Thanks for taking the time to do this as always. I appreciate it, believe me.
That's all from me though for quite a while I reckon!

Good work for the bump, I totally missed this. Shall see if I can manage any of it unless Portal 2 proves too distracting

Phew, I don't like the feeling of bumping something but seeing as this is only until Sunday I thought it wouldn't annoy too many people. All the clues should are gettable (I now it's always dodgy with my setting) although I apologise on clues 10D and 14D in particular!
And remember the prize is really really really good..

Also, I'd never heard of this but it looks pretty cool. I don't have a PS2 or Xbox or anything though

Scandalous. There's a PC version too (you can probably pick up the original Portal super cheap now), but I've never gone near PC gaming so dunno how hard it is to set up, spec requirements and all that.

The original Portal should be free. It was for a while anyway on Steam.

If you want to bump something but are worried about the bumpiness, just add an important-looking comment about it and pretend it wasn't about the bump.

Apparently it's a mystery that I'm going to get in person

receiver.

I'm sure you all agree what a classy prize it was and I am glad it is being used so soon! Woooooo. I will have to make another crossword soon so I can give out more wonderful prizes, I just love to see the smiling faces of children when I give them something. Did I say children? I meant adults.

It is especially good because it is a little smaller than my regular coffee cup (which also has a raccoon on it), so I now have a choice of cup size for when I fancy some coffee. It's like having my very own Starbucks in my flat.

I'm still not really happy with the raccoon on this. Or the slogan. But shitty gifts are always the best ones I feel.

And that is why the log you so tenderly laid under the spare bed was very gratefully received.

Haha! There is actually a lip balm stick under that bed but I just left it there. Take a look!
