The Sequence Game

Fun little game I think.

I'll give a sequence of numbers. You tell me the next number in the sequence, not necessarily the reason why. Get all 5 right, I'll explain the rationale, and you can post some more sequences. A hint: At least one of my sequences has nothing to do with maths.

1. 3, 3, 5, 4, 4, 3, 5, 5, 4, 3...
2. 8, 5, 4, 9, 1 6...
3. 8, 6, 7, 5, 3, 0...
4. 113, 107, 117, 102, 88, 91...
5. 1, 8, 81, 1024, 15625...

Is 5) 1^2, 2^3, 3^4, 4^5, etc so 279,936? (i.e. 6^7)

Joseph and Kai are both right. Still 3 sequences left to solve.

Number 2 looks familiar but I can't quite place it. Will mull over it.

Hints for the others, hopefully these are vague enough so that they won't give them away entirely.

2. Think of 1, in a sense.
3. Music plays a big role.
4. 1525, or is it 1510?

Should the 1 and the 9 be swapped in sequence 2??

...I'm going blind, apparently.

Yes, yes they should. *sigh*
