Post by Thomas Carey »

Hi, I know someone will probalby (which I know I spelt terribly wrong) have made one like this already, but I was just wondering what you thing about the 'new' site (i.e. the stuff that looks completely different). And I can use this as an excuse to get more posts. :D

It's alright, probably better on a computer screen, but the old version was more manageable on a phone. Thanks Charlie/other people who has/have almost certainly spent a long, long time fiddling around with pages of code to make this new revamped version anyways.

The default board view is now prosilver for everybody. For people like me who only ever knew aerogreen it may as well be a completely new site. For prosilverers, you won't notice any difference. Luckily Karen gave me a quick tutorial of how to find the "new posts" and "active topics" buttons because I was too stoopid to find them myself.

The very idea of this must have Matt and Charlie laughing their socks off. It was very much a case of blind leading the blind!

Oh sorry, I wanted to allow revoting. And yes, by 'the new site' I mean this 'prosilver' thing.

It's fine really. Very good. Better on a computer screen, as Joseph said, than on a phone, but still good on a phone. The only bad thing is that you can't click 'View Active Topics' or 'View New Posts' unless you go onto the Index Board again which is slightly fiddly and sometimes annoying. Therefore I would not say it is better than the old one, but still a fantastic site. I agree with what Joseph said; it has obviously been worked on very hard, for this site to be changed rather a lot and thank you to whoever did this.

I have"View active topics" on my browser bookmark toolbar. Saves a lot of fiddling around.

"View active topics" still doesn't work properly though does it?
