Spoilers For Tuesday February 8th 2011

So, Edward has now reached half-octochampdom, following another brilliant display yesterday.

But, can he keep it up and bring Adam up in a sweat :?:

As Ryan is still indisposed, and I'm inconveniently unavailable, I've decided to hand over the recapping reins, for one week only, to a recap newbie.

Hopping along down Recappers' Road is Marcus Hares, and you'd better make sure that you don't bounce off tonight, or you'll miss his recap. ;) :) :D

Would love to have a go at a current recap, thing is I am occupied after school on Thursdays, and the recap would probably have to wait for a while before being posted i.e. a day or more depending on circumstances.
If no-one is against me doing an odd recap, I'll happily do one should the need arise. :)

Hmm. Jeff should have said "taking the pith", no?

Ah man. Yet more outdated Liverpool references, oops!

DC guy really likes to say 'chomping at the bit'.

I'd like to chomp at his bit. If by "bit" you mean "face" and by "chomping at" you mean "stroking with a hammer".

Harold was cool as fuck. I liked him.

I bet Harold would be well hacked off if he had an American spelling disallowed.
Great century again - I think you were very close to the max.

Well done again Edward.
I think you're getting the hang of this game.

Great play Edward. I hope you get (or got) through the week without that tiresome self-loving guy in DC beating you.

And if Fernando Torres goes down with food poisoning in the near future we'll know who'd invited him round for dinner....

Very nice again, Edward. Just 2 points dropped today.

1st Numbers Alt.: (((9 x 5) - 6) x 10) - (8 / 4) = 388
3rd Numbers Alt.: (75 x 9) + (8 x 8) - 5 = 734

PINOTAGE and PILOTAGE in round 4.

Would've just beaten you at the conundrum, although I did have the advantage of remembering that it was last used back in Series 61. :geek:

AWESOME work Edward. DC feeling like a spare part.

*Sweats* (but I did just run 11.7 miles, so that might have something to do with it).

Fantastic performance again Ed, you look so calm and laid back, loving your run. Your probably one of my favourite contestants in a long time, and that's not just because your Irish!

A masterclass today, again - Octochampdom will surely be a mere formality at this level.

That said, I did manage to get to the conundrum first, which happens very rarely so I was very pleased!

If any more opportunities to write a recap come up, I'd quite like a go :)

I think it was an archaic form of "schrieb", the imperfect of "schreiben".

Nice to see an interest returning for people willing to do recaps. ;) :) :D
