Spoilers For Wednesday December 8th 2010
COUNTDOWN: F MINUS 1
So, we have now reached the 108th and last preliminary of Series 63, to determine who will be the carry-over champion into Series 64, due to begin in just under 5 weeks time.
The new champ is Mike Pickering, after destroying Denise Smith in both conundrum rounds with super-fast reflexes that anyone would be proud of.
Incidentally, that was only the 2nd time in the show's 28 year, 1 month and 5 day history, that consecuitve shows have needed to be decided by tie-break conundrums, and it was also only the 65th time in 5,170 shows (debate as much as you want) that tie-breaks have been required. (Although, earlier series had rematches, rather than tie-break conundrums.)
I'll be back later with the Robinson Recap.

Was it just me who saw CECIL reset himself just before the ads at the end?

ROOTSIER in round 8.
Out of interest, did some of the finalists get that conundrum, but they weren't shown

Who? I think you're telling porkies Taylor. I can't remember anyone else getting it. Were you even there on the Tuesday?Ryan Taylor wrote:Yes.James Robinson wrote:ROOTSIER in round 8.

Peter Godwin solved it but was far too modest to raise his hand. (He told me this as he ate one of my Jaffa cakes).Josh Hurst wrote:Who? I think you're telling porkies Taylor. Todays Conundrum was meant for the first quarter Final, but because they'd had shit loads of tie break the people putting the conundrums up got a bit confused and put it in this show instead. If what Ryan said is true, Peter was the only person to get it. Good job about the mix up then!

If you mean that '000' is displayed during the closing credits, it's done quite a lot these days.Joseph Krol wrote:Was it just me who saw CECIL reset himself just before the ads at the end?
